Recently, e-learning communities has been one of the most common topic of discussion to all schools. It even arrived at our own school just a few months before and this is the reason why we are designing this model of an e-learning community about music based around the social networking tool NING.
This wiki was made with the vision of allowing people in different ages to access freely the world of music. The Music Paramour is a learning community which can be enjoyed by everybody with the same interest in life, which is music.

You will be able to 'chat' via text messages to the other members of your group in real-time. Chat sessions will be scheduled into your learning program and you’ll participate by logging on at a specified time—much like attending a tutorial.
☺ Blogs: It is provided for the benefits of the member to post their blogs about whatever they want to share. To start a blog, you need to Decide What You Want To Blog About, and then post it according to your own will. But it should be avoided to post anything on your blog that might be personal to other people if just anyone can read your blog
☺Videos : If you've got your own videos on your computer that you want to share on your blog, Music Paramour now allows you to upload video directly! If you'd like to share a video from YouTube, you can do that, too ☺ Photo Vicinity : This is the area wherein members could post their photos to different folders. Members could post a photo of their favorite instruments, artists(local, international), and even their own photos! ☺ Suggestion box :This suggestion box is very important to this site this is the place wherein members could put what features they want to add to this site. It would be a big help since this site needs to go along with the rapid growth in this world and together with this is also the rapid change of online communities.

This is an introduction to some of the basic concepts of Lev Vygotskyean theory (culturally-mediated identity) by Trish Nicholl.As “groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.” This learning that takes place is not necessarily intentional. Three components are required in order to be a CoP:the domain, the community, and the practice.This reflects to Communities of Practice (Lave and Wenger).Communities develop their practice through a variety of methods, including: problem solving, requests for information, seeking the experiences of others, reusing assets, coordination and synergy, discussing developments, visiting other members, mapping knowledge and identifying gaps.
